Dani Diaz is a transfeminine Filipino-Argentinian American comic artist born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. They are obsessed with cats but severely allergic to them. Reach out if you want to challenge them to a game of Age of Empires 2. Dani has spent a decade working in the environmental sector in various science and technology roles.

Dani’s debut YA graphic novel, Dreamover, was published in 2025 by Top Shelf Productions/IDW Publishing and received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, and BookPage (~6,000 copies sold). Dreamover follows a teenage couple magically escaping their lives through a shared lucid dream.

Dani is currently working on their second graphic novel, WHEN THE WORLD IS VAST, a new-adult coming-of-age dark romantic dramedy about four former childhood best friends trying to reconnect amid a growing loneliness epidemic.
